Tom Cambata

In addition to his private tuition, Tom has taught for the past seven years at several primary schools across the London boroughs of Camden and Hackney and tutored several music groups, holding a number of pastoral roles including:

Tom has taught across Keystages 1-3, GCSEs, and A-level music and continues working for the government initiative 'Wider Opportunities' teaching samba classes. He has written a song book for KS1 and 2 singing and regularly contributes to the Camden grid for learning, recording downloadable podcasts on percussion in primary schools. Tom has published several articles in Primary Music magazine and is currently working on an intermediate level play-along book for drummers. Various locations around the country in a folk band. A weekly hip-hop residency for a year and a half Gigs for local television and radio. Alongside playing the drum kit, Tom started to compose and arrange music for his own bands when he moved to London. These included a heavy rock outfit, and a trip-hop band. Most recently, he has worked as part of a function band playing guitar and providing vocal harmonies.

Robin Jones has been around the music business for longer than he cares to remember. He has had a vastly coloured career in many areas of the profession, from Latin to Pop to Jazz, numerous gigs, TV, Sessions and Recordings.

In the early 80s he felt his experience was needed by the new younger players, and started teaching full time. He has taught and given clinics in many of the major colleges and schools in England and Abroad, including Trinity College (England). He has had a vast amount of successful students, both private and from his 10 years as percussion teacher at Pro Perc. He offers students whatever they want or need to know, using his own knowledge and experience from his world travels, including Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico and the USA. His own teachers include the two late great congueros from Cuba, Anga Diaz and Modesto Doran, and Bobby Sonabria and Johnny Almendra from New York. He still runs his two highly successful Latin bands “King Salsa” and the “Robin Jones Latin Jazz Sextet” with a number of CDs available. He looks forward to welcoming you to Pro Perc.

Jack Pollitt is an experienced player in a wide range of styles, Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B, Jazz and Salsa.

Having played with many artists including Beyonce Knowles, David McAlmont, Sam Brown, A Girl Called Eddy and recorded for TV and Radio. Jack is now available for one to one tuition.
